It often takes a few people focusing on one person to bring attention to the condition of thousands.  I join those who protest the imprisoned Leyla Zana in hopes that we can, through world-wide effort, secure her release from prison as well as encourage an outcry critical of the treatment of Kurds suffering in Iran, Iraq, Syria and Turkey.   It is not a crime to be born into a race or culture and that birth should never be used as a rationalization for political or personal murder.
